Pub, Club, or Live Music?
Post by jaimeneefsAnything can happen once the sun goes down. The night is what you make it, and there’s a decision to be made. Pub, club, or live music?
Of course there are other venues and activities you can engage in at night, but this week I’m focusing on the typical nightlife scene. Do you grab some pub grub, get down at a club, or jam to the local band? While living in Toronto it’s these choices I’ve been faced with once the work week ends. But this week is different. Instead of settling on one option I’m doing all three. Keep it locked on the blog to see what’s up when the sun goes down.
Hold up, this chick ain’t done talking yet! Let’s discuss our options.
Pub. Dimly lit. Boisterous crowd. And the most reliable chicken wings you will find in town. Personally, I’m a pub type of girl. Don’t get me wrong, I enjoy the club scene every once and a while, but there’s something about cold beer, greasy food, and being surrounded by your friends that wins me over every time. A pub is relaxed, reliable and home away from home for dedicated sports fans. And while this type of nightlife isn’t new to me, I think you’ll quite enjoy what I get myself into…
Club. Music so loud you can’t hear yourself think. Drinks so strong you can’t think yourself hear. But fun? The best.
Live music. Whether you’re checking out a new musical talent, or catching up with the staple Saturday night band, live music is a never-fail good time. The atmosphere can range from concert-like to a low-key pub feel, but whatever the case, the music is real. And it’s good.
But here’s my question to you, what do you prefer, pub, club, or live music? Hit up the AXE Facebook page and let me know what you’re in into!
Have a good one,
Jaime
